Duties & Responsibilities: Provide telephone and clerical support services to the organization. Answer a multi-line phone. Contacting supporters. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be fluent in English. Ability to work independently and well-organized Competency in dealing with the public on phone or in person Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is an asset. Maintaining the voice mail. Start Date: Immediate. Flexible hours from 11am to 9pm from Mon to Sun. Founded by Qaid-e-Ahl Sunnah Maulana Shah Ahmad Noorani Siddiqui (RA) in 1989, it is under the guidance of learned and respected scholars of our time such as His Eminence Dr. Qamar-uz-Zaman Azmi, Prof. Shahid Raza Naimi and Shaikh-ul-Islam Maulana Muhammad Anas Siddiqui al-Qadri. W.I.M. Canada plays an active role in serving the needs of Muslims in the Mississauga, Oakville & Milton areas in Ontario. It is also actively involved in providing a humanitarian, educational and religious services to Muslims & non-Muslims in local as well as other communities across Canada. We appeal to Muslim Canadians to become part of this progressive project which will lay the foundations of Islam in Canada and to establish a vibrant and engaged Muslim community. COMMUNITY NEWS Breakfast for the homless in Peel WIM Canada co-ordinates the feeding of the homeless with John Howard Society and other Muslim organizations. Through this effort, since 2005, the Muslim community has been reaching out to the poor and homeless in GTA. Breakfast is prepared and served to the homeless each Tuesday. more pics ..
