Many felt that the gathering highlighted, in a very human way, the importance of fasting in the lives of Muslims and how iftar is used as a means of constant reflection to examine themselves in their roles as parents, students and positive members of our community. Moreover, this dignified gathering proved that by communities coming together to learn from each, there is hope for us to work together in an atmosphere of love and respect. |
